N.G. NEVILLE

N.G. Neville is the pen name or pseudonym for co-authors Geoff Burke and Nick Fisher. Both are from Lancashire. Nick is from Wigan and Geoff originally from Salford, now resides in North Wales.

Geoff joined forces with his close friend Nick Fisher to write and publish their first novel; “Degeneration The Story of Betsy Roberts”, based on true events and characters from the early pioneer period of American history just after the War of Independence.

Their second novel; ‘BETSY ROBERTS’ published by Cambria Books and Amazon is the full 2 part version. They have recently completed their third book, a collection of stories entitled “Death and Salvation”. A fourth novel is being planned for publication this year. The story of Betsy Roberts has been adapted and is due to be filmed.

Geoff and Nick have also worked together promoting live music including the Llandudno Jazz Festival, a series of Blues concerts in Wigan, and organized tours for the likes of the legendary Cream bassist Jack Bruce and Mica Paris. They co-run an Art collective in Wigan with Geoff’s wife, Beth, called The Swinley Group.

Together they form an inspirational, creative team.

A sequel or more accurately prequel, a collection of short or not so short in some cases, stories will be published in 2022. It is entitled ‘DEATH and SALVATION’. Many of the amazing characters in ‘BETSY ROBERTS’ are present before they appear in the full novel. How they got to where they were in the novel forms a fascinating collection of truly extraordinary stories.
